Hello and welcome!!
You have come to the right place if you want to find out about all of the exciting SOCIAL events line up in 2010 for you! Yes you, fellow Meddies!
As the social coordinators for Medsoc 2010, we believe that it is an essential graduate capability to be able to have a life outside lecture halls and anatomy labs.
Not only will our numerous events guarantee a whole lot of FUN, but they also promote the forming and strengthening of friendships. These relationships will help you keep sane along the long 6-year path and beyond and might even lend you a hand before the next med exam!
This year, get set for an EXPLOSIVE social calendar, with more than 11 events lined up, including:
- Rebirth of Medlawn- Welcome BBQ/Drinks (new event!)
- Pubcrawl- annual night of memorable (or not so memorable?) fun!
- Law/ Med party (new event!)
- End-of-session PARTY
AND - If hitting the dance floor is not your cup of tea, there are plenty of chances to display and appreciate the many TALENTS of medical students in events such as:

Not to mention the highly hyped up annual Medsoc MEDBALL which gives you a damn good excuse to dress up, let your hair down, and enjoy a scrumptious dinner in a grand ballroom. And who knows, as you gaze into the night-lit waters on the balcony, you might just meet…. a special somebody? hehe
PLUS - for you first years, you lucky ones have the opportunity to form those first connections in the exclusive MEDCAMP! Whether its learning the fresher dance or trying your hand at ‘Iron Guts,’ its definitely a weekend that is to be reminisced throughout your medical years.
