Hello Everyone.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I would firstly like to extend my congratulations to the incoming first-year group – we look forward to meeting you. We will also be joined by the first group of students through the graduate entry scheme from medical science at UNSW.
This year promises to be a very exciting new year for our medical society. Medsoc will continue many of our traditional events, but with our dedicated and enthusiastic team (check us out here!), we’ve got many new social and academics initiatives in the pipeline.
I would encourage everyone to take part in all that Medsoc has to offer. To keep up-to-date, please check back on our website, read your student emails and join our Facebook group for 2010.
For the first years, don’t stress yet as you’ve still got plenty of time before you begin university. We’ll have plenty more information to give to you at a later date, but make sure you attend the faculty welcome during O-Week and sign up for Medcamp when registrations open.
Otherwise keep well, stay safe and I look forward to seeing you soon.
